One
person was killed and four others were injured in a collision that occurred on
Christiaan de Wet Road in the West of Johannesburg yesterday evening.
ER24
spokesperson Pieter Rossouw says when ER24 paramedics arrived on scene they
found that the four injured patients had sustained minor injuries and that
there was nothing that could be done for the second pedestrian, who had already
succumbed to his injuries.
He
says ER24 paramedics treated and transported two patients to Flora Clinic for
further treatment. The other were transported by other medical services.
The
cause of the incident remains unknown, but local authorities were on scene for
further investigations.
