An accident this morning left three people
dead, while another sustained critical injuries in a collision along the N3 at
Montrose.
“Netcare 911 paramedics, the fire services and
the N3TC arrived at the scene and found some of the injured still trapped in
the wreckages of the trucks,” Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha.
“The critically injured man was stabilised
at the scene before medics transported him to a nearby hospital for the care
that he required.” Botha added.
It is believed three trucks collided on the
N3 leaving the highway totally obstructed.
The police will conduct further investigations.
