Two toddlers, adults injured in Kempton Park accident

Four people, including were injured late last night after a taxi rear-ended a bakkie on the Zuurfontein Road in Kempton Park.

“When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene, they found the taxi and bakkie in the middle of the road. Occupants from the taxi were found sitting in the sidewalk while occupants from the bakkie were walking around on the scene.” ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said.

“On assessment, paramedics found that two adults as well as a two-year-old boy and six-year-old girl has sustained only minor injuries in the collision. Fortunately, no serious or fatal injuries were reported on the scene.” Meiring added


The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations, Meiring concluded.
