11 injured when a bakkie and taxi collided

Eleven people were injured in a collision between a bakkie and a taxi in Cloverdene Road, Daveyton Benoni this morning.

ER24 Chritra Bodasing says “ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found patients walking around.”

“Patients, one from the bakkie and 10 from the taxi, were assessed. They were found to have sustained minor injuries.”

They were treated on scene and transported to various hospitals.

The exact cause of the collision is unknown. Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
