MEC commends farmers in the Western Cape

Western Cape MEC of Economic Opportunities, Alan Winde completed a site visit to Swartland to assess the impact of low rainfall on the regions agricultural sector.

He also visited the Western Cape Department of Agriculture’s farm, Langgewens.


“Minister Winde has commended the farmers in the area for adopting more responsible farming practises and we can already see the positive effects it’s having on farming.”Ministerial spokesperson Bronwynne Jooste said.
