4 people were injured this morning
in a collision between 2 vehicles on Kloof Road, outside Fochville. ER24 spokesperson
Chitra Bodasing says,
“ER24 paramedics and other services arrived
on scene and found 1 vehicle in the veld on the side of the road and another
still on the road.
Two children believed to be aged 5 and 9,
and a man were treated for minor to moderate injuries.
A man believed to be in his 50’s was
trapped in the vehicle found in the veld.
Fire and Rescue services from Fochville
used the Jaws of Life to extricate the man.
Upon assessment, paramedics found that he
sustained moderate injuries. Following treatment on scene, all patients were
transported to hospital.
The exact cause of the
collision is unknown, however, authorities were on scene for investigation
