Four men were
apprehended this morning driving a suspected stolen motor vehicle. Two
unlicensed firearms were recovered in the vehicle in Dyokoni Street, Phase Six
in Browns Farm.
Members of the Flying
squad were on petrol when they noticed a Ford laser driving in front of them
with four suspicious looking occupants.
The members tested the
vehicle registration number, and it came out as positively stolen in Nyanga
during November 2015.
Captain
FC Van Wyk added that “The vehicle was
stopped and the occupants and vehicle was searched and a fire arm was found on
the back seat.”
