Three injured in R36 a ccident in Mooketsi

One person has been critically injured and another two sustained minor to moderate injuries in a collision between two vehicles on the R36 on Thursday evening in Mooketsi in Limpopo.

“ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found that two light mot vehicles were involved in a head on collision. A man believed to be 39 years of age was found in one of the vehicles.” ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said.

“A man believed to be 28 years of age and a woman believed to be 50 years of age who were occupants of the other vehicle were assessed and found to have sustained minor and moderate injuries respectively.” Chitra added.

All three patients were taken to hospital to receive treatment.  


The cause of the incident is unknown, however, local authorities will investigate.
