Three men in their early
twenties were killed after their bakkie plunged down a cliff off a gravel road
near Voelklip just off the Herald Bay Road, Western Cape.
“ER24 paramedics, along with Metro
services, were called to the scene by the local authorities. Once on scene, paramedics
found that a bakkie had plunged roughly 100 metres down a cliff and had come to
a rest against some large rocks.” ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said.
Meiring added that the cause
of the incident is not yet known, but local authorities were on scene for
further investigations.
