Three women knocked down in Newlands

Three women were left injured on after they were knocked down by a car on the corner of Long and Gordon roads in Newlands early today.

“ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and found the women lying on the pavement. The car, which had knocked another vehicle, was found a few metres away from the pedestrians against a traffic light pole.” ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said.

Bodasing added that the women, believed to be between 20 and 40, had moderate injuries.

They were treated and transported to hospital.


Authorities were present to investigate.
