One
person was killed and six others injured in a collision that occurred earlier
this evening on the N12 close to the Lenasia off ramp in Gauteng.

spokesperson Pieter Rossouw says that… “The collision involved a taxi as well
as a light motor vehicle’’.
“The
allegedly collided with the light motor vehicle and then the light motor
vehicle allegedly caught fire”. He added
“Over
and above the deceased patient, there was also one patient with critical
injuries that was treated and transported by ER24 paramedics to LenMed hospital
in Randfontein for further treatment”, he added.
“The
other patients all sustained moderate injuries and were treated and transported
to nearby hospitals by other medical service that were on scene,” He explained.
