The new minister of finance has done well so far

Economist Dawie   Roodt says he is stunned by President  Jacob Zumas pointing  Nhlanhla  Nene as new Finance Minister. In a statement Zuma says Nene had done well during a difficult economic climate.  He has been replaced by David van Rooyen. Roodt says Zuma chose the worst possible time to make the move


Roodt Recession says… “The rand went to the lowest ever than the US Dollar that will mean that we have even more inflation rate.”

“We wanna  know especially food inflation will be much  high that it is at the moment. It is very good  possibility  even that  the south African economic  recession rate.”

“Not only a matter  of pointing new minister of finance. It is appointing  somebody that is got key position in cabinet  and somebody that is very very much needed especial this time.”
