A 46-year-old woman airlifted off Lions Head Mountain

A 46-year-old woman was airlifted off Lions Head Mountain in the Western Cape this afternoon.


“ER24 were called to the parking lot near the Lions Head to meet the patient. It is understood that the patient had sustained moderate injuries while climbing in the mountains”.


“AMS helicopter was called in to airlift the patient to the awaiting ER24 ambulance.

Paramedics treated the patient and thereafter transported her to a nearby hospital for further treatment”. Local authorities were on scene for further investigations”, he added.
