The ANC Umkonto we Sizwe Veterans Association, MKMVA, in the Western Cape is calling on the public to not fall for the DA’s demand to have provincial ANC leader Marius Fransman suspended when there is no formal charge yet.

Police are investigating the complaint of a 20-year-old woman who accuses Fransman of harassing her during a trip to North West province for the ANC’s 104th birthday celebrations.

MKMVA’s provincial secretary Thuso Mkabile says people are out to hurt the ANC ahead of the upcoming municipal elections….

Mkabile explains that:
The enemy or opponent will need different tactics to win the support of the people and sometimes they are bad and evil to such an extent they term to destroy the images of the people who are set to be the face of the organisation.

The African National Congress has been under that attack all the time and it’s an issue that we as the MKMVA would not stand by, he concluded.”
