Thieves expose glaring security failure in Intelligence Agencies

Congress of the People spokesperson, Dennis Bloem says in a statement, that COPE is astonished at how brazen thieves in our country have become, as they openly cock a snook at the intelligence establishment in the country.

He says, they (thieves) steal and get an adrenalin rush by stealing from supposedly the most secure centres in the country: the intelligence agancies. Dennis Bloem explains


Last week, it was reported that R50 million was stolen from the South African Secret Service safe in Pretoria. This week it is reported that 50 computers are stolen”.


“We are saying that we are very much worried about the safety of our country”.



He adds, “We ask the question, and we want the minister to answer, are we really safe in this country?”
