Eight suspects arrested for robbing a grocery store in Indwe

The Multi-Disciplinary Task Team led by the Dordrecht and Indwe Visible Policing. Public Order Policing and ElliotK9 unit arrested eight suspects, aged between 24 and 44, who allegedly robbed a local grocery store on Sunday 07 February. The suspects were arrested within hours after the robbery was reported to the police. Police Captain Ursula Roelofse explains.    

‘’It is alleged that just about the shop’s closing time, six men entered and robbed the customers of their personal belongings and took an undisclosed amount of money and fled’’.

‘’The suspect also demanded the key to a Corsa vehicle, from one of the customers and fled. Two suspects escaped from the scene and one was apprehended by the public and handed over to the police’’.


She concluded...‘’Four other suspects, were waiting outside the shop in a Quantum Bus. The suspects the drove in a Quantum towards the direction of Indwe’’.
