MEC Mbombo to secure the wellness of children

Western Cape MEC Dr Nomafrench Mbombo, alongside the Minister of Basic Education Mrs Angie Motshekga and the Deputy Minister of Health, Dr Joseph Phaahla will attend the National School Deworming Programme Launch.

The programme delivered through the Integrated School Health Programme in collaboration with the National School Nutrition Programme.

“The programme promotes the deworming of children and schools comprise one to two, which are typically disadvantaged schools and nutrition schools provide health care services to these children and communities that surrounds them”, said Luyanda Mfeka.
