On Wednesday 24 February 2016,
Western Cape Minister of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Anroux Marais presented
Long Service Awards to officials of the Department of Cultural Affairs and
Sport at the 2016 ceremony held in Milnerton. Minister Murray’s Spokesperson
Stacey Maclean said.
“The
59 long serving officials for loyalty, commitment, dedication and significant
contribution to our vision of a socially inclusive, creative and active Western
Cape”.
She
concluded by saying “These officials received awards for spending 10-40 years
in the service of the public, an indication of the passion and perseverance
they have shown in bringing about positive change to the people of the Western
Cape. Their residential areas are also indicated for ease of reference”
