POPCRU condemns the killing of a WC Metro Police Officer

The Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union in Western Cape says in a statement that it is reeling in shock by killing of a metro police officer on Monday.

POPCRU spokesperson Mbolekwa said…“As POPCRU we condemn the killing of a metro police in Eerste Rivier.

We are calling on detectives to investigate these criminals and arrest them as a matter of urgency.

We are calling on the magistrate to refuse bail.”
