Western Cape Government First 1000 Days project introduced

The Western Cape MEC of Health, Dr Nomafrench Mbombo and the MEC of Social Development, Adv Albert Fritz will today launch the Western Cape Government’s First 1000 Days project which forms part of the province’s strategic goals for the next five years.
MEC Mbombo spokesperson Luyanda Mfeka explains that the MEC introduced a number of branded taxi vehicles to distribute promotional material for the campaign to members of the public.

Luyanda Mfeka said. “The minister introduced a number of branded taxis from the Department of Health, as part of a strategic initiative and promoting our campaign in the public, as well distributive promotional material to the public in the area”.


He concluded. “The 1000 days campaign is specifically targeted at communities but more specifically mothers and their babies in aims to encourage the public”.
