A suspect in the murder of a Mfuleni woman is expected to be transferred to Cape Town from Limpopo soon.

The man was arrested in Giyani on Wednesday night in connection with the alleged murder of Sizeka Batala.

Batala’s body was found buried in the Happy Valley area on Monday, nearly a month after she was reported missing.

The police’s Noloyiso Rwexana said the suspect will appear in court today.

He will be transferred to Cape Town. He will just be making appearance on that side as part of the process, then the court must transfer him to the Cape Town side.” She said.
