Human Settlements Minister Lindiwe Sisulu has rejected claims made by Economic Freedom Fighters  that she was pushed out of her previous position because she did not cooperate with the Guptas.

EFF deputy president Floyd Shivambu claims Sisulu was removed from the defence ministry because the Guptas were after a tender leasing planes to defence.

Floyd Shivambu said “We can tell you for free that the reason Lindiwe Sisulu was shifted from defence ministry to public service and admin, is because the Guptas wants to have the tender to lease planes to defence for R106-billion
They have that tender now.

She wanted to buy cheaper planes, but the Guptas said no, we will sell you a plane for R4-billion. And when she refused, they shifted her to public service and administration.”
