Jackson Mthembu is the party’s new Chief Whip, ANC Parliamentary spokesperson
Moloto Mothapo confirmed Mthembu's appointment.
Mothapo says “Mthembu will be tasked with ensuring that
party members attend sessions and vote in accordance with the procedures
enforced by the leadership”.
Speculation about Stone
Sizani's successor has been rife since he resigned almost three weeks ago,
however, Sizani will take up an ambassadorial post in Germany.
The Chief Whip performs an
important duty in Parliament, Mothapo concluded.
