Two suspects arrested for allegedly robbing a shop in Dutywa

Two suspects aged between 22 and 24 were arrested for business robbery by the Dutywa PoliceEastern Cape. It is alleged that the suspects went to a shop at Chizela Village Dutywa and robbed the business. Police Captain, Jackson Manatha explained the situation.

Two men pretended to be buying some soft drink and then while they were about to be served one of them drew his knife and threatened the lady who was serving them demanding some money”, said Jackson Manatha.

They were both given an undisclosed amount of money and cellphone of the victim”, He said.

Both suspects were traced with the assistance of the community and arrested on the same day”, said Manatha.



They are appearing before the IDutywa Magistrate Court today”. He concluded.
