WC Transport MEC & Traffic Chief tables Easter Operational Plan

WC MEC of Transport and Public works, Donald Gant and the Department’s Provincial Traffic Chief Kenny Africa will be briefing the media on the 2016 safely Home Provincial Easter Operational Plan.


MEC Grant and Chief Africa will be providing details on planned enforcement activities, as well as the multimedia “first kiss” campaign that is currently being rolled out under the #BeTheChange.

Today Minister Grant and Traffic chief Kenny Africa will be briefing a media statement on our upcoming on enforcement plan which is a long treat effective integrated plan.”


“They will be rolling out over this Easter period as we now expect increase numbers of traffic board which adds to risk of collision and serious injuries but the plan will involve various elements of the enforcement as well as our online and TV and radio.” He added


“That is the first campaign that is targeted around feedback safety.” he concluded
