Zephany Nurse kidnapper apologises

“The woman accused of kidnapping, Zephany Nurse, from Groote Schuur Hospital 18 years ago, has allegedly apologised to her biological family for the pain she has caused them”.

“Nurse was taken from the maternity ward when she was just three days old. The accused apologised to the child's mother, Celeste Nurse, while under cross-examination, saying she didn't know the child was kidnapped”.

“The woman has pleaded not guilty to charges of kidnapping, fraud and the contravention of the Children's Act.  The husband of the woman accused of kidnapping Nurse has taken the stand in the Western Cape High Court”.
