The National Student Financial
Aid Scheme, SABC and
Vodacom will on today launch a fundraising campaign at Fort Hare University's
Alice campus in the Eastern Cape.
The campaign seeks to raise more funding that will be directed through the scheme to assist financially deserving students at institutions of high learning.
It relies on ordinary South Africans to make a contribution.

"We are
asking to contribute to funding by sending an sms to 49919 key in the word
NSFAS and make contribution to the campaign of R30. The campaign targets to
raise R50 million between its launch until the end of 2016 and 2017 financial
year."
NSFAS is urging all South Africa's citizens to support the government and to see the value in investing in the youth of South Africa for a better South Africa tomorrow.
