Burst tyre causes deadly Cape Town

Two people were killed and three injured when a car lost control in Kraaifontein, Cape Town this morning.

ER24 spokesperson Pieter Rossouw said that One of the vehicle’s tyres allegedly burst, which led to the driver losing control over the vehicle and the car rolling several times. 

The car had been travelling on the N1 between the Brighton Road and Okavango Road off-ramps.

Two people were thrown from the car.


They were declared dead at the scene. Three people sustained moderate to severe injuries.
