Eastern Cape Premier Phumulo
Masualle has allegedly suspended one of his few seasoned heads of department,
Nombulelo Hackula, over allegations of mismanagement.
Hackula, who was crowned
Business Woman of the Year in the public service category in 2014, has been
accused of not declaring her directorship in companies that did business with
the department of social development while she was the accounting officer.
Hackula left the department
following a fallout with current MEC Nancy Sihlwayi, whom she accused of
interfering with administrative processes.
