Youth Café launched in Oudtshoorn

Western Cape MEC for Social Development, Albert Fritz will today launch the departments fourth Youth Café in Oudtshoorn.

Guided by the Provincial Youth Strategy and Provincial Strategic Goal 2 which speaks to improving education outcomes and opportunities for youth development, the Western Cape Government has prioritized the empowerment and development of young people in the province.

Fritz says “This new Youth Café follows the success of the first three Youth Cafés in Mitchell’s Plain, Athlone and George”. 

He added that “The Youth Cafés offer entrepreneurial, leadership and other skills training, including internet access for job seekers or entrepreneurs”.

This Café will allow young people in Oudthoorn access to a developmental space that is limited only by their creativity, he concluded.
