Businessman found murdered in his home

A Well-known Dutywa businessman was found murdered in his home on Thursday night.

Mlamli Tetyana, was stabbed five times in his stomach and four times in his back.

His throat had also been slashed. 57-year old Tetyana, a former school teacher, was married with three children.

Police spokesman Captain Jackson Manatha said the murder occurred just after 8pm on Thursday.

The motive for the murder was unknown and no arrests had been made. A heartbroken family member and UDM councillor, Mzimkhulu Tetyana said the family, from Mabheleni location in Candu Village, was hoping police would bring the perpetrators of the crime to book.


He said his nephew was found dead in the doorway of his bedroom at the family’s three-roomed homestead.
