Nine motorist have been arrested during traffic operation

Nine motorists have been arrested for driving under the influence during traffic operations across the Western Cape.

Officials tested more than 860 drivers overnight at so-called alcohol-blitz roadblocks.

Traffic spokesperson Jacques Mostert said, One person was arrested for false documentation and they also confiscated two vehicles. 


Mostert has advised motorists to adhere to the rules of the road.
