NSFAS to track-down its debtors in a bid to recover unpaid loans

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme says it will now target companies that employ its debtors, in a bid to recover money owed to the fund.

The scheme says that with the assistance of the SA Revenue Services, it’s traced hundreds of thousands of its debtors who are now employed.

NSFAS spokesperson, Kagisho Mamabolo says some of the debtors are in senior positions.

Mamabolo says they have managed to trace over 400 000 people.
