IEC and EISA encouraged people to vote

The Independent Electoral Commission and Electoral Institute of Southern Africa have emphasised the importance of the Local Government Elections taking place on August 3.

IEC Deputy Chairperson Terry Tselane and EISA's Ilona Tip spoke to SABC . Tselane says people must know the importance of electing someone who will be responsible to deliver the community's basic needs.

 Operation director for EISA Ilona Tip also says citizens should identify their leaders to make sure they deliver on promises.
