Woman found dead after three vehicles hit her

A woman believed to be 50 years old died last night in Greytown Road near Copesville.

A second vehicle then apparently hit her and came to a stop.

She was then apparently hit by a bakkie. When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene they found the woman in the slow lane of the northbound carriageway.”

The bakkie had overturned on an embankment.

Bodasing added “The woman sustained severe injuries. There was nothing paramedics could do for her.

The driver of the bakkie sustained minor injuries but declined hospital treatment.”

The exact cause of the incident in unknown.

Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
