Health authorities in the Western Cape have managed to contain a swine flu outbreak in George and doctors say there's no need for panic.

At least 22 people have been treated for the H1N1 strain in the Southern Cape Town.

Clinical manager at Walk in Doctors in Heatherlands, Dr Marcelle Herbst, says there is no epidemic coming through the country at the moment or through the Garden Route area.
