37 Year-old man knocked and killed by train in Kempton Park

A man believed to be 37 years of age was killed after being knocked by a train in Kempton Park earlier today.

ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing Harduth says ER24 paramedics and government EMS attended to the incident which was close to the Pretoria Road and Van Riebeeck Road intersection.

Upon arrival, paramedics found the man laying near the train tracks.

Upon assessment of the man it was found that he sustained severe injuries to the head as well as injuries to left arm.

Sadly there was nothing that could be done for the man. He was declared dead.

The exact details surrounding the incident are unknown.


Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
