Crash leaves one critical and four others injured

A man believed to be in his 40s had to be airlifted to hospital after being injured in a collision involving three vehicles on the N12, about 8KM outside Fochvilee earlier this morning.

ER24 Spokesperson Chitra Bodasing Harduth says paramedics arrived on scene and found a man trapped in one of the vehicles and was rescued using the jaws of life.

 The man sustained critical injuries and had to be  airlifted to hospital.

Four other people sustained minor injuries 4. The cause of the accident is not yet known
