South African Airways board members will appear before Parliament’s Standing Committee on Finance today.

This will be the first time that the newly-appointed board members face Members of Parliament, who are expected to question them over the national carrier’s financial results and plans.

Board chairperson, Dudu Myeni who was reappointed to lead the board for another year will also be present.

SAA’s financial results for the year 2014/15 showed a loss of more than R4 billion – one of the reasons the carrier’s board are in hot water.
