A
man was left critically injured this morning after his motorbike rear-ended a
tipper truck on Dock Road in Cape Town Central.
The
driver of the tipper-truck fortunately escaped injury.
Local
authorities were on scene for further investigations.

24 Spokesperson Russel Meiring says “ER24
paramedics, along with Provincial services, arrived on the scene and found the
man lying on his side in the middle of the road. Paramedics found the man being
treated by Provincial services.”
Meiring
said “On assessment, paramedics found
that the man had sustained numerous injuries, including a serious facial injury.”
“The patient was treated on scene and
provided with numerous advanced life support interventions.” said Russell
“Once treated, the patient was transported to
Groote Schuur Hospital for further treatment.” He added
