Emergency services attended to a collision between three vehicles on the Cedar Road bridge just past Dainfern earlier this afternoon.

It is reported that a man believed to have been ejected from one of the vehicles was found a few meters down an embankment.

Paramedics used a scoop and ropes to bring him up to road level.

The man was in a critical condition. He was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care.

One person from another vehicle who sustained moderate injuries was also transported to hospital.

All occupants of the third vehicle declined to be taken to hospital.

The exact cause of the incident is unknown. Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
