SAMWU oppose DA’s decision to retrench City of Tshwane staff.

The South African Municipal Workers Union opposes Tshwane retrenchments.

SAMWU regional Secretary Mpho Tladinyane said: 

“We noted, with concern, the statement by democratic Alliance over the weekend.

With regards to retrenching the staaf of the City of Tshwane.

We have also noted that prior to the local government election, the DA was promising people job creation and all those related issues.

The want to do something contrary to what they promised the people.”
