80 people injured in two bus collision

Paramedics and various other services, arrived on the scene of two buses wedged together on the side of the road.

Approximately 80 people have been injured this morning after the two bus rear-ended another on the Mangusuthu Highway in Umlazi, KwaZulu Natal.

Upon assessment, paramedics found that approximately 80 people had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

Fortunately, no serious or fatal injuries were reported.


The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
