Pedestrian in serious condition after being knocked over by car

A pedestrian sustained serious injuries after he was knocked over by a car on Frikkie Meyer Road, in Vanderbijlpark, this morning.

ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing Harduth says ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found the man believed to be in his 30’s lying on the side of the road. 

Harduth says Upon assessment it was found that he was in a serious condition. 

He was treated and transported to the Sebokeng Hospital for further medical care.

The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.

The exact cause of the incident is unknown. She concluded

Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
