The South African Broadcasting Corporation says the death threats allegedly made to its employees are a ‘police matter’.

According to reports, the so-called ‘SABC 8’ are living in fear after a series of disturbing incidents and death threats.

The threats are, apparently, aimed at forcing them to drop their court action against the public broadcaster.

Seven of the eight SABC staff were reinstated after being dismissed earlier this year.
