Two men have died and four others sustained serious injuries in a collision between a bakkie and car on the R33 before Albert Falls in Kwa-Zulu Natal  earlier today.

Paramedics and other services arrived on the scene and found both drivers trapped in their vehicles.

Unfortunately there was nothing that could be done for them.

They were declared dead on the scene.

The four other men who were assessed and found to have sustained serious injuries, were treated and transported to hospital for further medical care.

The exact cause of the incident is unknown.
