Police Minister Bheki Cele says there has been two people taken in for questioning in connection with the murder of the police officer Donovan Prins.
Donavon Prins was shot and killed on Monday after chasing the suspects in Lavender Hill. Minister Bheki Cele was in Lavender Hill this morning to visit the family of officer Donavan Prins. Cele says, 26 police officers have been killed while they have been on duty since the start of the year.
Many people ask “when will this misery end” and nobody got an answer to it. This has not been able to be defeated even globally, it’s worse in South Africa but we’ll keep on working until we reduce the crime rate in our communities.
