LONG LIVE COMRADES ROBBIE AND COLINE

LONG LIVE COMRADES ROBBIE AND COLINE

The year is 1989, 23rd July when unbeknownst to Selena Williams she is having her final conversation with her sister, and now fallen comrade Coline Williams.
It’s been thirty years since Coline Williams, and Robbie Waterwich have died in an appalling incident that after three decades still no one is answerable for.
Last night a memorial service was held for both late Umkhonto we Sizwe operatives, Williams and Waterwich in the St Mary of the Angels Catholic Church in Athlone, close to where the two were in fact killed on a mission to bomb the Athlone Magistrate's Court in an anti-election campaign.

If you missed out on the memorial service please listen to the news feature below.
