Residents have been left shock
after a mother residing in Lambert’s Bay was stabbed to death by boyfriend in a
suspected domestic despute.

Traut said police have arrested a suspect. A 28 year old man has been
apprehended after stabbing his girlfriend in Lang Street, Lamberts Bay on
Sunday afternoon. He is expected to appear in Chanwilliaom Magistrates courts
once charged.
Community worker Beverly
Schalk Leone said drugs were at the center of recent killings in the area. She
said the couple had four kids together, nobody expected it as it had been a
long time since something like happened in their community.
The Rural and Agricultural
Workers’ Development Organization said the incident highlighted gender-based
violence (GBV).
