DA to lay criminal charges against Malema & Zuma's children

The Democratic Alliance (DA) will, lay criminal charges against EFF leader Julius Malema and former president Jacob Zuma’s daughter Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla and his sons Edward and Duduzane on Wednesday.

The party’s shadow minister of Justice and Correctional Services, Glynnis Breytenbach said the official opposition would lay charges of incitement to violence against Malema and the three Zuma siblings.

‘’In the period leading up to the arrest of former President Jacob Zuma, as well as after his imprisonment, his children on various occasions took to the press and social media to express comments which appear to encourage and incite the violence and looting that has destabilised KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng and which is spreading to other parts of the country.’’

‘’For his part, Julius Malema threatened on Twitter to join the anarchy on the streets if the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) is deployed and likened the deployment to a declaration of war against civilians instead of an attempt to maintain law and order,’’ Breyentenbach added.
